How to add a new site
This guide will help you add a new site to your SEOTesting account.
From the Launchpad, click the 'Add new Website' button or use the property drop-down switcher.
Enter the website’s canonical URL (considering HTTPS and www or non-www).
Click the down arrow to open 'Optional Settings' if you wish to add a filter to the site.
When adding a Search Console site property to SEOTesting you can filter the data by geographical region, search type, page, and query.
The SEOTesting dashboard, reports, and rank tracking will all then be based around these filters when looking at this new site in SEOTesting.
Country filter - if you want to filter the dashboard and all reports by geographical region.
Page filter - useful when you want to add a sub-section or group of pages to SEOTesting.
Query filter - useful if you want to remove brand or non-brand traffic from a site property added to SEOTesting.
Please remember that you cannot change these filter settings later without deleting the website and adding a new one.
The example above shows adding https://seotesting.com, but filtering all data for the site to just the /blog/ sub-section of the site.
Select the Google account that has access to the Google Search Console site property you wish to add to SEOTesting
The next step just confirms that you will give Read-Only access to your Search Console account.
Select the Search Console site property from the list you wish to add.
This optional step lets you grant permission to team members or click Save to proceed without sharing access.
You will be redirected to the Launchpad, and your new site will be at the bottom of the list (if you have more than one site).
