# Share a test or report with someone using a Magic Link

## **How can I share a test or report with a non-SEOTesting user?**

Within SEOTesting we have a '**Magic Link**' feature which gives someone direct access to a single test, report, or view in SEOTesting without them needing an SEOTesting account. It's the quickest way to put a result in front of management, a project stakeholder, a colleague, or a client - you send a link, they open it, and they see exactly the view you were looking at.
## **Where you can use Magic Links**

The Share button appears on:
* The main dashboard
* SEO tests
* Site Changelog
* Rank Tracking
* Reports - Winners & Losers, Brand vs Non-Brand, End of Month, New Keywords, New Pages, Content Decay, Striking Distance Keywords, All Pages, and All Queries
* Content Groups - the summary view of all content groups, an individual content group, and page and query details for a specific week or month

## **How to create a Magic Link**

* Open the test, report, or view you want to share.
* Click the **Actions** button at the top right, and select **Share**

* Choose how long the link should work for: **1 day**, **7 days**, **30 days**, **90 days**, or **no expiration**.

* Click **Create Link**.
* Click **Copy Link** to copy it to your clipboard, then paste it wherever you need it.

## **Managing the Magic Links you've created**

You can review Magic Links at site level or across the whole account:
* **For one site:** From the **Dashboard** select **'Actions' > 'Edit' > 'Magic Links'**
* **For every site in the account:** From the **Launchpad**, click on your profile at the top right of the page, select '**Account settings'** and then navigate at the top menu to **'Magic Links'**
From either report you can copy a link again to re-share it, or delete it.

## **Frequently Asked Questions**

### **Does the person I share with need an SEOTesting account?**
No. That's the point of a Magic Link - anyone with the link can open the view without signing up or logging in.
### **How long does a Magic Link last?**
As long as you chose when you created it: 1, 7, 30, or 90 days, or indefinitely if you selected no expiration.
### **Can I revoke a link I've already shared?**
Yes. Delete it from the Magic Links report at either site or account level.
### **I can't see the Share button.**
Magic Links are available on the views listed above. If the page you're on isn't one of them, there's no Share button to click.
