# List & Tables Suggestions

## **What is the List & Table Suggestions tool?**
The **List & Table Suggestions** tool finds sections of a page that would be easier to understand as a list, table, or structured comparison. Dense paragraphs that pack several facts together are harder to scan and harder for AI search systems to pull into an answer; restructuring them makes the information clearer.

## **Why is this useful?**
AI search often lifts concise, well-structured passages into its answers. A long paragraph comparing options buries the detail; the same information as a table or list is easier for a reader to scan and easier for a system to extract. This tool identifies the passages where that reformatting would help most.
**Example:** turn a long paragraph comparing plan features into a table with columns for price, limits, integrations, and best-fit customer.

## **How does the List & Table Suggestions tool work?**
The tool analyses your page content and identifies dense or list-like passages that would read more clearly as a structured list, table, or comparison, so you can reformat them for clarity and extractability.

## **How to run a check**
* From your dashboard, click the 'select your website' dropdown at the top of the page and choose your site. Select **Labs** from the left-hand menu:

* Scroll down to find **List & Table Suggestions**.
* Enter the **URL** of the page you want to check.

* Click **Analyze Content**. The tool then reviews your content and highlights passages that would work better as a list or table.
* Reformat the flagged passages into the suggested structure where it improves clarity.

## **Tips for getting the most out of it:**

* **Reformat where it aids the reader, not everywhere.** Not every paragraph should be a table - use the suggestions where structure genuinely makes the information easier to follow.
* **Comparisons are the strongest candidates.** Anything weighing options against several attributes usually reads better as a table.
* **Keep tables scannable.** A few clear columns beat a wide table with many sparse ones.
